Pilates - Class Information

I teach 6 week courses on a rolling basis throughout the year excluding bank holidays and between Christmas and the New Year.

I believe every person attending benefits from sessions by learning to carry out everyday activities safely and develop strength and flexibility to stand correctly and be fit and healthy to enjoy life. Exercises change every programme to challenge and keep you motivated.

Current sessions are held on:

  • Sundays at 9.am via Zoom
  • Mondays in St Thomas More Primary School, Kidlington at 6.55pm and 8.05pm
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.30pm via Zoom
  • I teach programmes which work both major and minor muscle groups and aim to ensure that over a period of time, all muscles are exercised using various exercises to keep your mind stimulated by learning the exercises and your muscles toned and supple giving you good muscle definition and strength for sports and general everyday activities.

    The 6 week courses alternate between using equipment for one course and your own bodyweight and gravity. Equipment used includes:

    • Resistance bands
    • Hand weights
    • Stability balls
    • Medicine balls
    • Foam rollers & half rollers
    • Fitness circles
    • wobble boards
    • Chi balls
    • Wristbands
    • Chairs & footballs

    I attend workshops to ensure my knowledge and skills are in line with research findings and safety information available; and up to date with clientsÂ’ interests and needs as lifestyles evolve/change.
